We are a little family of five plus one cat (Christopher)! We are wanting some help with our 3 sons (4yrs, soon to be 2yrs and 2 weeks). This is a general home help function as well as child minding, so Information technology is advantageous if you have practice running a household. Pick up and drop off from daycare would be required so your drivers license and the capability to drive on NZ roads is a must. Our eldest is an absolute character, and while he loves to join his Dad on the farm, some days Information technology is too busy for him! Our middle is a lovely, relaxed boy who is very easy to be around. Between them they love puzzles, tractors, trucks, diggers, walks, playing in the park, going to the swimming pools and many more activities. They are two brothers in arms who dote on number 3! We are seeking for a warm, fun person to help our kids to lgain and grow, help with dinner preparation, help with general home tidiness, including dishes, laundry etc. We live in a modern 4 bedroom home where you would come to work each day, and in the evenings and on breaks walk to your own private self contained unit approx. 50-100m away. It is clean and tidy 1 bedroom unit, with fridge/freezer, heat pump, couch, bed, washing machine, small shed for you to park your vehicle. The hours would be approx. 30 hours per week. Which days worked is negotiable. If you are wanting more hours than I can offer, I can enquire about a cleaning position with other farmers along our road. (this has worked well for our previous au pair to pick up additonal hours and pay). We would encourage you to travel and enjoy our beautiful country so if you need more days off for that Information technology would be ok. Position start date now, duration approximately 7-8 months. I am happy to consider any duration though, as I don't mind filling this function more than once if you can only do 1-2months for example. We live in a great central location to explore the South Island - 30mins to Christchurch, 10mins to Dunsandel, 15mins to Rakaia, 30mins to Ashburton, 1hour to Mt Hutt Ski Field...and many more beautiful places to enjoy in our country. This is an opportunity to join a Kiwi family and Kiwi way of life with hosts in their mid 30's who have travelled all over the world themselves.
