We have another couple of clients located in the central region, well established and highly reputed businesses. They have few opportunities for a full-time/part time medical imaging technologist for their hospitals. I also have few openings in Hawkes Bay and Gisborne. The function: Being a MRT, you will provide an efficient imaging service of the highest quality at all times and provide a welcoming, accurate and responsive imaging service to patients, referrers and funders. Working within a PACS environment will be preferred. Responsibilities will include: • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging and published protocols and standards • Deliver compassionate, considerate and professional patient care • Perform examinations efficiently to keep patient waiting times to a minimum • Record required procedural documentation • Ensure equipment is used in a safe and professional manner • Knowledge and compliance with all governing legislations (including the Radiation Act and Code, the Health Professional Competency Act and the MRTB Code of Ethics) • Maintain knowledge of current professional practice and developments You: • Current registration with the MRTB is essential • Annual Practicing certificate is required • Enrolled in a recognized CPD programme • knowledge of the PACS system • Statutory & treaty of Waitangi obligations • Be a flexible team player, • Be able to build and maintain effective working relationships, • Demonstrate excellent communication expertise • Highly self-motivated To be considered for this great opportunity, please apply now via seek or email Dee Das– dee@kinetic.co.nz or call at 0226579248 to have a confidential chat about the function.
