Full Time Fix Term Early Childhood Kaiako 2022
Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand’s largest school. We provide personalised learning programmes through distance education from early childhood level to year 13, including young adult and adult learners.
Early Childhood Te Kura offers a free, individualised programme for ?konga/learners aged two to six years old. Learners enroll with the programme for various reasons including distance, itinerant, high health needs, special development needs, special circumstances.
Due to increased enrolments, We are seeking for a 1.0 Full Time, qualified Early Childhood Kaiako for 2022.
This is an exciting function for an practiced ECE Kaiako who will work in partnership with parents/managers/whanau and develop an individual programme of learning for ?konga, using the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Wh?riki- He wh?riki m?tauranga m? ng? mokopuna o Aotearoa.
this function requires someone who works collaboratively in a team, is willing to learn, is a problem solver, share ideas and builds respectful and reciprocal relationships.
Our programme uses various online communication tools, so you need to be able to be digitally literate and capable with technology.
If you are an excellent communicator, self-motivated, show initiative, and are committed to improving education results for learners, we would love to hear from you. With Te Kura working to become a bilingual organisation having proficiency or expertise in Te Reo M?ori would be highly desirable.
This is a great opportunity for an practiced kaiako to be part of our Early Childhood teaching team, located in Wellington.
