Reporting to the General Manager, New Zealand & Pacific Islands, you will manage and grow all operations within the South Island and have responsibility for the Pacific islands. Based in Christchurch you will lead a highly capable and experienced team that includes Service Sales and Field Teams as well as support a construction team who work through the region. In addition to providing leadership and engaging the team your primary focus will be developing healthy and sustainable long-term customer relationships and to generate new business opportunities. Duties: » Lead by example in HSE management in what is a high-risk environment » Build a great team culture and provide feedback and leadership to enhance the employee experience » Building and maintaining high-quality relationships with business partners both internally and externally. » Lead sales management, exceed sales budgets and developing a healthy pipeline of opportunities. » Deliver financial, operational and growth results ahead of prescribed targets » Work collaboratively with the leadership team and other parts of the company and liaise with functional management at a national and Australasian level ABOUT YOU » Ideally Knowledge or education Degree in Engineering, Business or Commerce or equivalent formal studies » Previous experience within the elevator or a background in a service related B2B industry is essential Proven safety and people leadership capability including managing change » Advanced customer relationship building, sales management and negotiation skills » Ability to positively contribute to the company's national leadership team, bring new ideas and challenge the status quo » Passionate about technology » Experience in establishing a unique relationship with your customers based on trust, mutual knowledge, and professionalism » Decision Maker / Customer-focused / Shows initiative / Multi-tasker » You have strong organizational skills, including communication, sales forecast planning, and self-motivation. » Ability to create a strong network with identification of customer needs and challenges.
