Our client, a leading construction company in Wellington, is seeking experienced hammerhands for temporary, ongoing roles. These positions offer the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects across the region, with the potential for long-term assignments based on performance and project needs. Key Responsibilities: » Assist carpenters with framing, formwork, and finishing tasks. » Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. » Work from construction plans and specifications. » Ensure high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed. » Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized worksite. » Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines. What We're Looking For: » Proven experience as a hammerhand in the construction sector. » Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety practices. » Ability to work independently and as part of a team. » Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to different work environments. » Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor. » Own tools are an advantage but not required. » A valid Site Safe card is highly desirable.
