Ko t? m?tou mahi – Your function
In these functions, you’ll provide day to day support and advice to the Te Kurutao Policy Manager and the broader team on information requests, issues management and projects. You will also engage with national teams across K?inga Ora to assist with thought leadership abilities as Information technology relates to enabling M?ori aspirations.
As Policy Advisor, you’ll draw on your knowledge of tikanga and consciousness of the housing sector challenges faced by M?ori to inform and develop policies that support the business and inform all areas of the organisation.
As Senior Policy Advisor, you will work closely with inter-agency partners like the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and the Ministry of Social Development to establish policies that will push forward innovative change in policy for our organisation and drive improved results for our customers.
Ng? p?manawatanga ?u – What you will bring:
   » You’ll have an knowledge of Te Ao M?ori, with an consciousness of issues and trends in public housing and social services for M?ori
   » You’ll be competent identifying, collating, organising and analysing data to provide information and enable decision-making, and be adept at conveying information through written and verbal communication
   » An knowledge of Te Ao M?ori within a sustaincapability context is advantageous
   » A significant tertiary qualification is ideal.
