With 6 Operating Theatres on site, the team are well resourced and have a good working relationship between the Surgeons, Theatre Services Manager and the Surgical Nurses. They tend to work in teams and complement one another to ensure best results for our patients. About the function: This is a newly created leadership abilities position with the intention of contributing to providing clinical skills in the delivery of surgical services. The ideal Nurse will come in and lead a team of 4 Nurses, including doing their appraisals, and being hands on with up-skilling them. You will be working on the Theatre Floor alongside your team, as well as the Theatre Services Manager. » Ensure the theatre is well equipped to run as smoothly as possible » Ensure all the clinical equipment and supplies are on hand » Proactively mitigate any risks and maintain an excellent level of Nursing care this function reports into a Theatre Services Manager who is; transparent, fair and believes in recognition. Above all, team collaboration and excellent results drive their teams forward. You will be invested in by the Theatre Services Manager who is on the pulse with her team.
