Driver Operator - Class 2Location Manukau & East AucklandAuckland Job type Full Time Salary 26 to 28 Category Manufacturing/Operations > Machine Operators » » » Looking for an Service Technician to join a team based in East Tamaki. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and , maintaining parts-washer machines collecting workshop waste materials and delivering clean solvents . We predominantly work Monday to Friday (some limited Saturday work may be required) which enables you to have weekends off work but overnight stays may be required. Key responsibilities will include: » Inspecting, and servicing equipment in accordance with the company standards and to the customer's satisfaction, noting any maintenance requirements; » Waste and chemicals are collected, recorded and stored correctly; » Transporting of wastes to comply with Dangerous Goods regulations. To be successful in this role you need to have » A valid NZ Class 2 Licence with relevant driving experience. » At least one year driving Class 2 trucks. » Possess proven customer service skills » Demonstrate self-motivation, attention to detail, and strong time management skills. To be successful in this role you should demonstrate excellent communication skills with a great customer service approach and have a 'can do' attitude. A dangerous goods endorsement is desirable but not essential as you will be put through the endorsement course. You will need to be physically fit and have ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Full training will be provided.
