About the role: The Sales Representative's purpose is to liaise, manage and develop all sales activities within the prescribed territory, in-line with the strategic business plan while maintaining forecasted sales budgets/targets. Key Job Accountabilities (and related activities): » Attainment of a high standard of customer service / relations through the application of sales skills and cooperation with regional resources. » Grow market share by promoting added value and differentiation. » Work with Sales Representatives and operational personnel to establish service objectives / benchmarks, sales budgets and annual objectives. » Ensure that an applicable contractsupply agreement exists for the top 50 Accounts. Review and recommend any variations to standard agreements in accordance with company policy. » Supervise contract management data - input, review and maintenance - to ensure customers are charged correctly and ALNZ equipment asset records are accurate. » Establish a relationship with the customers to further develop the business partnership between the two companies. » Refer back all customer creation and modification requests to the Sales Support team. » Develop training packages for the customers as needed. These training packages would comprise of safety, quality, innovation, and future development to name a few. » Support other Sales Representatives in the identification and development of opportunities to enhance the region's infrastructure to support BD activities. » Assist ALNZ to attain operational efficiency targets planned to enhance overall profitability and asset utilisation. » Develop a sales plan to grow the market. » Identify competitor threats through SWOT analysis, gathering market intelligence combined with local assessments. About you: » Bachelor Degree in Business or similar field » Up to 2 years experience in a similar capacity » Computer literacy and ability to proficiently use Microsoft Excel spreadsheets » Experience in Google Suites (Advantageous) » Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and communicate effectively » Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments » Can do attitude with initiative to drive change and take ownership of change Our People and Benefits: Our people drive our performance.
