Through Screen Auckland's promotion of the city as a filming destination, we contribute to the sector's growth and its continuing significant contribution to Auckland's economy. This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity to join the Screen Auckland team as a Film Facilitator. You'll advocate, facilitate and coordinate all filming activity that uses Auckland Council property and impacts on Auckland's public open space. You'll help productions to understand requirements and put together permit applications to film in Auckland's wonderful streets, parks, beaches and reserves. This very busy and varied function has relationships at its core. You'll build effective relationships with the Auckland Council family, industry and regulatory experts, and provide impeccable customer service for a broad range of customers. He k?rero m?u: About you You bring prior practice within a regulatory environment or have worked in the film or events industry. You've worked in functions where there's been an emphasis on relationship management and you have built an knowledge of the local government environment and you can interpret policy, regulation and legislation. You're a confident communicator, naturally proactive and demonstrate the capability to deliver under pressure. You're systems savvy - comfortable utilising multiple systems through the course of your day. Resilience is key to your success in this function. You must be prepared to handle anything that gets thrown your way and own the process from whoa to go.
