As a valued team member, you will actively demonstrate our daily professional practices and conduct. The name suggests, you will help your Kaiw?nanga and Kaitautoko to deliver the best possible service provision to our whanaunga and therefore complete an important role of the organisation. To be successful in this position you will: You would need proven Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Attributes, and Qualifications within the HR administrator area. You will be a person who has a great attitude, integrity and professional pride. You must have: » interact appropriately and professionally with manuhiri, whanaunga, kaimahi, board members, suppliers and others who make contact with the R?nanga, either on the phone or in person. » Facilitate connecting people to the correct services and kaimahi. » Vetting of staff members and applicants » Recruitment - booking interviews, rooms, documentation, referee checks » Take phone messages and pass them on. » Undertake other administrative tasks as directed by Kaiw?nanga such as filing, data entry, scanning, uploading of documentation to HR system » Participate in meetings and taking meeting minutes as required. » Keep well-organised files and records of activity and relevant databases up to date » Give feedback on office efficiency and suggesting possible improvements » Be ready for any other administrative tasks that are required. » Undertake other tasks as required. » Be willing to upskill, learn new things, add to knowledge of te ao Maori, the R?nanga and its services and work. Technical, Skills Experience & Qualifications » Knowledge and experience in HR administrative work, at least two years practical experience » Be open to learning about te ao M?ori practices. » Ability to produce reports using generic IT packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel. » Skilled in attention to detail and multi-tasking. » A high standard of education including appropriate qualifications in Mathematics and English Language. » A high standard of professionalism in manner and presentation. » Ability to work independently to complete specific tasks and responsibilities. » Open to increasing skill in the area of technology. » Up to a Level 4 NZQA-equivalent qualification or be willing to successfully complete a relevant qualification within the first two years of employment. » At least numeracy or literacy levels equivalent to NCEA Level 1. » Ability to produce reports using generic IT packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel. » Experience working in a tikanga-based environment. » A smoke free and drug free professional practices. » A clean, Driver Licence.
