Job Opportunity: Live Music Event Team.:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation The Kingsland Guitar Festival Closes 23 Aug 2021 Posted on 23 Jul 2021 Region Auckland Work type Contract, Fixed Term, Freelance Work classification Music SharePublic funding has been secured for a new guitar festival to be held end of this year or early next year.I need to find a team of people that can work on its development on a part-timecontract basis;initially a person to assist with the planning, resourcing and permits. Secondly, a social media and marketing person will be required on a part-time contract basis. Tech support people will be required closer to the event date.It is a free, inclusive community event to appeal to all age groups, all genders and all ethnicities: a day long festival to celebrate the guitar in all its forms with live music representing as many styles as possible from finger-pickersto shredders. It's a outdoor community street festival to bring people together who love playing guitars and listening to guitarists and their groups: to span the music genres from blues to metal, folk to country, rock to reggae, and acoustic to electric. Ideally, team memberswill work part-time on an hourly rate in the house, building to the event date. This is an opportunity to get in at the grassroots of a new event initiative.
