Alongside the exhibition programme Te Tuhi offers participation and engagement programmes for schools, young people, local residents and community groups. About the functionAs the Finance and Building Administrator, you will work closely with the Executive Director to: » Administer and maintain effective financial systems and processes » Manage office systems and contracts, including superviseing Information technology systems » contact with contractors to manage building repairs and maintenance » Manage all building service contracts, including Health and Safety » Ensure compliance of the organisation with Health and Safety codes, providing a safe environment for all users expertise & practiceThe prosperous applicant will be a proactive, financially-minded individual who has: » Excellent numeracy, financial consciousness and attention to detail » Strong Microsoft Excel and computer expertise » Proven capability to work methodically under pressure and maintain accurate, transparent systems » capability to maintain professional relationships with a wide variety of parties, with respect for the confidentiality of sensitive information » Proven practice in implementing efficient operational and financial systems » practice in Xero and/or Smart Payroll systems is desirable » practice in Health and Safety and operations management is desirable.
