Farelli's Trattoria is now hiring for the busy summer season ahead. We are a busy owner operated Italian restaurant specialising in seasonal, rustic pizzas and pastas. We are an established business with a great local following and have plenty of out of town repeat customers. We are open seven days from 4pm with no morning/double shifts. We aim to provide 35-45 hour work weeks so you have personal time to enjoy Queenstown lifestyle. Work to live, not live to work. Pay dependant on practice; weekly pay, dinner every shift and tip share weekly. We are located in Steamer Wharf in central Queenstown by Lake Wakatipu. Chef de partie, commi chef and pizza cooks required. You will be responsible for running a section of the kitchen, food prep, plating up, orders, maintaining our food control plan, and cleaning. You are responsible for closing down your section at the end of service to a high standard. Pay rates range from $25-30 per hour located on practice. You must be able to work fast under pressure, keep calm, communicate well & have good attention to detail. It's a busy few hours of service but you will work with local owner operators and a great team. Good pay, good hours, weekly pay + tips + meals.
