Our client, a local family-run engineering business that has been operating for over 20 years is looking for a Fitter/Turner/CNC Machine Operator for their busy machine shop. They have a great culture with people who want to come to work. The role will involve operating CNC Lathes and programming CNC Lathes unaided. You must have an understanding of how to set up a CNC lathe in a production environment, as well as some knowledge of bar feeding.
You would be working in a clean environment with a supportive team, taking pride in the quality of work you produce, and have excellent time management and attention to detail.
You will be capable of reading and relating to all aspects of drawings and tolerances within those drawings. This work is a production format with many repeat jobs.
Hours - Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm
