Orchard Work - gain Up To $30/hr:Job description:Orchard Work - gain Up To $30/hrPayment: Paid Position (22+ )Job location: Ashburton Region: Christchurch & Canterbury practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 21/09/2022 Casual/Contract Orchard work available - Potential to gain $30/hr+ after training. We have a winter pruning job available that includes either winter pruning trees or removing buds from trees. For this job you need to work fast and be accurate. There is some training required and during this training you will be on an hourly rate of $22/hour. After the training and competency sign off is complete there is an option for you to go onto a contract or per tree rate. We expect this training could be for the first 2-4 days. The per tree rate is located on pruning 10 trees per hour and the rate is $3/tree, this is excepted to be the equivalent to a $30/hour rate. Please Note. Because every tree and every row of trees is different, some days you could to do more than 10 trees/hour and some days Information technology could be less. Information technology could also take a couple of extra days to get up to speed. There are everyday quality control checks done on your work which include a tree count check and a job quality check. If these checks are not met you may need to go back to redo some pruning or bud removal. This job includes ladder work at height of approximately 1.5m and a reach height of 3.5m.
