Ko wai m?tou? (Who are we?)
Te Kotahitanga o Te Atiawa (Te Kotahitanga) is the post settlement government entity (PSGE) for Te Atiawa Iwi located in Taranaki. Established by the Trust Deed in 2014, Te Kotahitanga is responsible for managing Te Atiawa treaty settlement assets for the benefit of iwi members.
Te k?inga rua (The opportunity)
Te Kotahitanga are in an exciting growth phase. We have a number of significant projects on the horizon and are seeking a Pou Amotake (Operations Manager) to support the Chief Executive to implement and drive the strategic objectives of the Board.
This is a unique opportunity to influence positive and lasting change for Te Atiawa rohe and to lead an exceptional group of people.
Te t?ranga (the function)
Working closely with the Chief Executive this is a multifaceted function where you will take the lead in superviseing the day to day operations of Te Kotahitanga. Supporting the Chief Executive in driving the implementation of the Strategic Plan you will prepare information for the Board, supervise the financial and operational performance of the business, and build significant relationships with our many stakeholders.
You will be a trusted advisor to the Chief Executive and mentor and leader to the Team. Managing workflows, fronting the public on behalf of the team and cultivating a culture of engaged and empowered people.

Our ideal candidate will have proven practice in a senior leadership abilities function and will display the mana and cultural competency required to strengthen Te Kotahitanga and build significant relationships with hap?. You will be driven by purpose and the opportunity to contribute to positive and significant change and will ideally have expertise of Te Atiawa processes. In addition to this you will demonstrate the following:
   » Proven leadership abilities capcapability and success developing and nurturing high performing teams.
   » Te Reo me ?na Tikanga.
   » significant tertiary qualification.
   » Strong financial management expertise and commercially astute.
   » Exceptional communication and interpersonal expertise with a demonstrated capability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
   » Demonstrated practice in strategic planning development and implementation.
