Information technology is home to a unique mix of collections and practices and our vision is to educate and inspire the innovators of tomorrow.MOTAT is currently seeking an Events Lead to join our great team. You will be responsible for developing, planning, and managing all major events in the Public Programmes calendar work, this includes the install and deinstall of events, and delivery. this function is instrumental in helping the Public Programmes team achieve their goals of producing one large event every month and increasing weekend practices. We are seeking for someone creative, who works collaboratively and takes a proactive approach to their function. You will be someone who thrives in an environment where events are innovative, and audience focused. Along with new events you will also be responsible to rolling out MOTAT's favourite events. To be prosperous in the function you will have: » Minimum of 3 years event management practice with large scale events and /or events across complex venues. » Demonstrated practice working to fixed timelines with strong organisation expertise and attention to detail. » Excellent written and oral communication expertise with the capability to demonstrate project management and planning expertise. » Highly developed interpersonal expertise with a demonstrated capability to relate to people at all levels and develop productive working relationships. » High degree of computer literacy and competence in Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel. » Current full drivers' licence and the capability to drive a manual vehicle. » Event Management qualification (preferred). This is a permanent, full-time function, Monday to Friday, however evening and weekend work is required to support the delivery of programmes.
