Microtel Lodge offers both long and short accomodation options for a range of guests accross mutiple sites. We are currently looking to fill both full and part time functions: On-site Manager With accomodation located nearby, the onsite manager should be ready to respond to any and all guest requirements. Working mostly Monday to Friday, the function can provide great work / life balance once all tasks are complete. This includes: answering reservation phone calls, follwoing up outstanding accounts, ensuring cleaning team work efficaintly to complete any and all required tasks. Complete guest check in and check out, being available 24 hours for 5 nights / days a week to respond to an emergency or provide access to a guest who has lost a key. Reports directly to the Group General Manager. Housekeeping Staff Reporting directly to the Lodge Manager or Group General Manager, take sole charge of one or more properties providing great service to our great guests a typical day includes: -Stripping and cleaning of checked out rooms -everyday cleaning of common ares both internal and external -Wash, dry, fold and store clean linen ready for use -Managing room supply stock and stocktaking -Ordering of hired linen for delivery -Supporting managemnet staff when required -Fit and able to complete some heavy lifting when required practice is preferred however, transferrable expertise and positive attitudes from other industries are always welcome.
