We are a premium owner operated TOP 10 Holiday Park located in Motueka, the gate to Abel Tasman National Park. We are pursuing to employ a motivated duo with previous management practice to assist the Owners with the day-to-day running of all aspects of our busy Holiday Park. You will be responsible for all areas of the day to day running of the Holiday Park, including reception and reservation tasks, grounds, housekeeping/cleaning, laundry, and asset maintenance of the Holiday Park. 2 days per week you will be adjunct Managers providing leadership abilities to the weekend Team. The position is full-time, working 5 days on 2 days off roster of 40 hours per week each. On call every second weekend is required, with every 5th weekend off. Previous management practice is essential along with a great can-do attitude. To join our Team, we will be looking for the following: *Proven leadership abilities and the capability to communicate effectively amongst a small team *The tenacity to thrive in a busy environment staying focused and organised while still providing the exceptional customer service that our guests are used to *A natural capability of being very detailed and organised, able to understand our systems and procedures *capability to multi-task, show good initiative, and have a calm demeanour under pressure *An outgoing positive personality *Have an eye for detail and a high standard of professionalism *Have a good reliable work ethic, ‘can-do’ attitude and the capability to self-manage *availability to learn *capability to confidentially use hand tools would be a advantage *Accommodation / Tourism industry practice essential *Able to work weekends and outside normal business hours *Full clean NZ drivers license required *Be a NZ Resident or have a valid working visa. This position requires you to live onsite in staff accommodation. You will be required to be on call for 3 days a week on the owners days off, providing after hours assistance when necessary.
