Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role plays a vital part in the efficiency of the site and is responsible for leading and co-ordinating the site's maintenance program in order to maximise plant productivity, manage product quality and minimise production costs. We are looking for an outgoing, team focussed individual, happy to build relationships and at ease when presenting to a group. Applicants should possess: » A Tertiary qualification in either Mechanical or Electrical engineering » Proven planning and scheduling experience within a manufacturing environment » An understanding and appreciation of Health and Safety within a Manufacturing environment » Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to transform thoughts into the written word » Good people management skills and the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders including contractors. » Good financial literacy and budgeting experience » Experience in the development of Performance Indicators and related reporting. » Proven experience in continuous improvement » Above average computer literacy and competence in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel (SAP and CMMS experience highly desirable) If you are a permanent resident who can add value to this respected New Zealand 'legend of industry', please contact Ali Williams at Adecco Waikato on 07 839 4742 or APPLY ONLINE.
