At this stage they have recognised they wish to improve their supply chain and logistic processes, so are looking for an expert in this area for a contract period. Responsibilities There are a significant number of projects underway across the business that of course ?intersect? with their supply chain. The purpose of the function is to understand the end-to-end business processes and operations of the supply chain systems so as to be able to scope, manage and prioritise projects, by developing project plans, monitoring performance, and identifying impacts. You'll become the SME on supply chain and mentor and coach those involved in the projects, so this requires strong communication skills as well. expertise & Skills We are after Somebody with expertise and practice across different sectors, but preferably in a manufacturing and distribution business. You will have held specialist or senior level supply chain functions, but also have a strong project management background, preferably with some formal training or qualifications alongside your SC practice, as much of the work requires prioritisation of the variety of projects. Some extras?
