Senior Information technology Assurance Advisor:ACC_hainesJob description:Job Description» Do you have an Information technology Audit background and practice with, or a desire to get into, Project Assurance?» Would you like to be involved in an assurance capacity on a variety of high profile projects in a large, complex environment? » Senior Assurance Advisor Projects and Technical function – Permanent, Wellington About the opportunity This is a great chance to apply your strong general Information technology and auditing practice to different business initiatives, particularly our portfolio of major change projects. Reporting to the Transformation Assurance Manager, you will have strong technical auditing expertise and advisory capcapability in project/programme assurance and Information technology systems/environments. You’ll be involved in multiple reviews in all respects from planning through to leading fieldwork, co-ordination and reporting to the Board Risk, Assurance and Audit committee and leading the development of resources, training and methodologies. About your day to day work: » Providing assurance over assigned project development activities (emphasis on design assurance, fit for purpose solutions) » Robust planning for implementation » Pre-implementation reviews » Testing and pre go-live activities » You will also be involved in a wide variety of Information technology Audit assignments as required across current systems/environments A bit about you will include the following: » You’ll be an inquisitive, critical thinker » Communicate across the business to both technical and non-technical stakeholder » You’ll have previous practice as a project/IT auditor and ideally some exposure to Agile » Your lead practice in Information technology Audit will help you achieve the positive results we’re striving for » You’ll also enjoy coaching, mentoring and leading by example to help develop your colleagues What we can offer will include the following: » Exposure to leading edge technologies that will serve you well in the future (incl advanced data analytics, robotics and AI) » Mentoring from a very practiced and skilled management team » Our Internal Audit team is diverse and the strengths of every member of the team are drawn on.
