Senior Compliance agents:Maori Pacific JobsJob description:Job DescriptionDate: 25-Jun-2021Job location: Auckland Wide, NZ, 1010 Employer : Auckland Council ·Step up and take on leadership abilities responsibilities ·Champion responsive compliance services ·located in Central & West Auckland He angit?tanga: The opportunity Part of Compliance Response & Investigations Unit, your typical day would involve completing site visits, identifying and investigating breach of regulations which you will be required to resolve through appropriate methods of enforcement or education to achieve sustainable results and meet customer service delivery standards, in conformity with the significant statutory documents, the Resource Management Act, Building Act and other significant legislations. You may also be required to be part of an on-call roster and need to be available to work after hours when required. He k?rero m?u: About you You demonstrate strong customer service practice, maturity, excellent communication expertise and confidence to resolve queries and potential conflict. Your exceptional interpersonal expertise, confident approach with customers and your outstanding conflict resolution techniques will therefore be key to your continuing success in this function. You will also be skilled at coaching others and prepared to help resolve difficult or escalated matters. The availability to help guide the team and act in a leadership abilities capacity is desirable. A tertiary qualification or able to demonstrate equivalent practice in Environmental Science, Building, or similar and at least 5 years’ practice in investigative/compliance functions within council or with regulatory organisations such as with Police, Customs, Fisheries, or similar fields.
