You will be part of a small passionate team that take pride in providing an exceptional practice to our guests. Primarily your function will be helping the housekeeping manager to supervise a small housekeeping team cleaning the lodge facilities, Assume the responsibility all elements of delivering an exceptional staying practice to our guests. As a member of the Hapuku team, you must be willing and flexible to carry out a number of tasks and Information technology is critical that you possess a availability to learn, be hardworking and reliable. Shifts are rostered across a 5-6 day working week that will include weekends and public holidays . As part of a small team flexibility in work hours is essential. We are located 12kms from the Kaikoura township, having your own transport is an essential. Staff accommodation is available Full training will be provided Tasks & Job responsibilities: » Working collaboratively with the Housekeeping manager schedules, supervises and manages the day-to-day tasks and activities of the housekeeping team ensuring the constant highest degree of guest satisfaction. Guest room, common area, and laundry tasks assignment » Train, supervise and monitor the quality of work of the housekeeping team » Maintain professional appearance and supervise use of housekeeping vehicle. Staff presentation and grooming » Identifies and works with other team members for the allocation of other lodge staff as required for the exterior cleaning of the tree houses, windows, cobwebs by grounds keeping staff etc. Weekly cleaning schedule, monthly cleaning schedule » Compliance in all areas of housekeeping including cleanliness and hygiene, manual handling, chemical handling and guest privacy and security » Resolve guest complaints, concerns or issues in a timely and valuable manner Skills:
