Supply Chain ManagerJob location:Auckland Manukau & East Auckland Work Type: Permanent » » » »Modern Healthcare environment, South Auckland »Job security, Wellness programme, allowance for medical insurance etc »Manage supply chain functions & processes Our client • Our client is within the Healthcare sector and prides themselves on serving the community through clinical excellence and providing a service that is second to none. • Reporting to the Facilities Manager this truly is an exciting opportunity for you take on a new function in a dynamic environment Purpose • To support Senior Management by managing onsite Supply Chain functions and processes within the site • Being accountable for end-to-end activity ie the inbound process for product ordered, the storage, movement & management of inventory held onsite. • Ensuring that goods and services required to maintain clinical excellence are well managed in service delivery Key tasks leadership abilities • The strategic vision and objectives are understood • To seek best prices for products and services are delivered. • Build collaborative relationships with the Senior Management team to ensure delivery of business goals. • Lead and coach three staff • Accountable for the accurate completion of tasks relating to processes within: Inwards Goods & Receiving Onsite Storage Master data management (relating to correct barcode/product relationships) Inventory Management & Replenishment (DIFOT) • Manage the Back ordered Purchase Order process • Ensure items are stored safely • Manage inventory levels, annual stock take and reporting • Manage Supply team scheduling Planning • To participate in the planning of product and equipment procurement and supply chain processes • knowledge of stock requirements to meet fluctuating surgical volumes • Manage process when an item is superseded to minimise write off • Co-ordinate the sourcing and delivery of alternative products • Ensure product supply is well planned to meet demand for sterile products • And other tasks to forward plan stock and supplies for future needs. Quality • To provide quality, cost effective Supply Chain services to meet expectations. • Effective product delivery services are implemented, maintained and evaluated. • Support the quality auditing process • Assist in the investigation of complaints and incidents in consultation with the Quality Manager • Identify & record improvements to reduce cost • Capture & report inventory level performance against agreed KPIs on a monthly basis • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and processes • Develop a detailed knowledge of the ERP system used in relation to inventory functions, train and support other users as required Performance • To optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement and supply chain services, ensuring assets are protected, and expenditure is properly recorded in order to preserve long term revenue and financial vicapability • Ensure Invoices are matched against orders and packing slips to ensure valid payments • Ensure Minimum and Maximum stock levels are reviewed • Internal stores distribution is coordinated in a timely and well planned manner • supervise the procurement of items in consultation with the CEO/other Management Occupational Health/Legislation You • Will have 5years practice in a supply chain / inventory management focused function • An interest in the Healthcare sector (smaller surgical products – located in a separate Storeroom, not Warehouse) • practice managing a team? • ERP systems practice essential to complete supply chain & inventory management tasks • Data analysis and Excel expertise • Strong relationship building expertise (for internal staff and external suppliers etc) as working within in a fast paced environment that is expanding their operations over the next 2-3 years too! • A sense of humour and be physically fit On Offer • Potentially an opportunity to step up/advance your career • A comfortable office awaits as does a welcoming and dynamic team • Hours are 40/week (flexible start time) with free parking • Wellness programme • Generous allowance for medical insurance (after brief qualifying period) and other benefits! • Up to $80-85,000 depending on practice Interested?
