Job Opportunity: Pasifika Liaison – Palliative Services:marypotterJob description:Job DescriptionMary Potter Hospice is recruiting for a Pasifika Liaison - Palliative Care for a fixed term contract until 30 June 2021 to hold the reins until our Pasifika Liaison person returns from an external secondment.this function works closely with our community teams providing our Pacific patients and their family's access to the care and support they need. In this function you will help us bring the Pacific Service Plan to life, and help the Pacific community understand and access the free services Mary Potter Hospice can provide. We will welcome applications from people with well-established networks across the Pacific communities, preferably with practice in the health sector including palliative care. The capability to speak conversational Samoan would be an advantage. You will have strong relationship management expertise and be comfortable supporting our staff to increase knowledge and knowledge of Pacific cultures. You will also have a full driver's license.
