Te T?h? o te Ture is seeking an practiced General Manager Governance and Assurance. The General Manager works closely with the Ministry’s senior leaders and external agencies and stakeholders to optimise and strengthen the systems of governance, risk and assurance, and monitoring of Justice crown entities. The governance and assurance functions play a critical function in ensuring the Ministry maintains public trust and integrity, has a great governance system, and sets the right direction and performance expectations of the related crown entities.
The General Manager is responsible for leading a great team of subject matter experts, and consequently you’ll be comfortable in the ‘leader of leaders’ position. You’ll coach, support and troubleshoot with your team to get results. You’ll love connecting with people and are energised by building an knowledge of how your stakeholders can be supported by the tools and skills within the governance and assurance group.

Reporting to the Deputy Secretary Strategy, Governance and Finance, you’ll also have access to a great team of peers who are dedicated to driving strategic decision making, shaping the Ministry’s direction, and enabling the Ministry to succeed with high quality information and objective advice.

income range: The appointing income for this function will be between $203,194 and $251,004 located on skills and practice.
