Senior Policy AnalystJob location:Wellington Wellington Central Work Type: Permanent » » » »Help shape an education system that is inclusive & delivers equitable results for all »Lead analysis and advice on policy issues that are critical to the success of the tertiary education system »Permanent functions - $115k-$135k The function • Help shape our thinking on how we invest in tertiary education to support the achievement and wellbeing of learners utilising your policy, analytical and strategy expertise on issues that matter for the tertiary education system. • Join a group responsible for whole-of-system, end-to-end policy integration covering early learning, compulsory schooling, and tertiary including M?ori medium, te reo M?ori, Pacific and Learning Support. • Work collaboratively with other government agencies including TEC, NZQA, MBIE, and others. • lead interesting and challenging work programmes aimed at strengthening tertiary education at a systems level to ensure that Information technology is inclusive, responsive, and delivers equitable results for M?ori and Pacific learners, and other under-served learner groups. • Develop the Tertiary Education Strategy and advice on the system as a whole; access and participation in tertiary education; structural reforms of vocational education and training; tertiary education research; funding and fee-regulation. • Provide detailed advice to assist Policy Management, Ministers, and others across the organisation.
