Fabrication AssistantLocation Manukau & East AucklandAuckland Job type Full Time Salary to Category Engineering > Mechanical » » » This small NZ owned business is currently seeking with any type of metal/steel fabrication experience or welding skills who are interested in an opportunity to upskill and learn all there is to know about the trailer industry. The role requires the successful candidate to assist with both fabricating individual components and assembly and requires skills such as; » Reading plans and able to accurately measure » Use a variety of saws to cut frame and sheet metal » Use basic small tools and power tools. » Ideally some welding experience would also be an advantage. » Ideally 6 months experience with metal fabrication. These positions do start as temporary however they do have opportunity for full time positions depending on reliability. » Can pass a pre-employment drug test » Able to supply two work-related references » Reliable transport to site » Willing to submit a criminal history check. This role offers a minimum of 40 day shift hours, across Monday to Friday with overtime on a Saturday optional.
