Financial Accountant/adjunct Accountant - TempJob location:Bay of Plenty Tauranga Work Type: Temporary » » » • Urgent start, temp while the function is recruited permanently (great chance to try before you buy) • Large employer located at the Port • $30-40 per hour temp rate, approx. You will slot into the finance team leading the day to day financial accounting functions. this function is vacant now and we require a temp while recruitment for the permanent person is underway. Your function will include: • Being responsible for financial accounts supporting month end and year end processing and day to day cash flow management • Managing the large, fixed asset register (volume and value); reconciling monthly against the GL, processing any disposal of assets, and calculating depreciation • Statutory reporting, tax compliance (GST, AIL, FBT) and IRD filing • Preparing P&L budgets and quarterly forecasting, • Maintaining CAPEX payment schedule and reporting This company is an industry leader in port related product and cargo handling in New Zealand and Australia.
