At the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of New Zealanders.
Service Delivery and Operations is the face of DIA. Our work ranges from registering births, deaths, marriages and charities, to processing passport applications, community grants and name changes.
this function reports to the Content Manager and focuses on revitalising the internal expertise base that supports Births, Deaths, Marriages, Citizenship and Passports. Our expertise base contains process and policy information that helps our Life and Identity Services agents provide the best possible results for our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
   » Writing well-designed, accessible and useable content for our Life and Identity Service agents.
   » Working with subject matter experts to diagnose gaps in existing content.
   » Conducting analysis to define and refine new and existing content.
To be prosperous in this function you will have:
   » practice in content design and writing for the web.
   » practice in digital content management practices, web standards and their application.
   » Proven practice in using metrics and user feedback to define and refine content.
   » Technical expertise in HTML and CMS.
   » Technical expertise in internal facing expertise bases - including optimising content for internal expertise base search.
   » The capability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders and provide specialist advice.
