About our group The Resourcing Group is responsible for delivering operational funding and staffing entitlements to nearly 2,500 schools. We administer annual payments of approximately $5.8 billion to Schools and Kura. We provide high quality financial advice and support to Schools and Boards of Trustees. We ensure Schools and Early Childhood centres receive correct resourcing entitlements through our Monitoring programme. We provide resourcing operational policy advice and guidance and produce one-off solutions to resourcing issues. Our Resourcing Contact Centre also provides direct telephone and email support to Schools’, Early Childhood Centres and the general public. About the function We have a great, fixed-term opportunity for Adviser to join the Equity Index (EQI) Implementation team which is part of a Ministry-wide programme of work. The EQI Implementation team are leading the transition and embedding of the Equity Index into operational delivery. The key focus for these functions is to maintain a national overview of the activities being delivered and provide guidance, support and improvements to ensure the delivery of high-quality programmes and services. The Advisor works within the wider Implementation programme of work and engages with the learning community to broker and support the implementation of services, projects and initiatives. This position provides advice and support as required to ensure project development and its implementation are effective. This will include designing implementation solutions for new, or the review of existing programmes of work, producing one-off solutions to school resourcing issues, and advising and guiding others on implementation. » Full-time » located in Wellington » 12-month fixed-term position available About you As the ideal candidate you will need to be able to work at pace, manage a variety of tasks and projects, take the initiative.
