The Gallery Administrator function is a contracted paid position up to 7 hours per week negotiable. The appointee would need to be flexible within the 7 day period and much of the work would be off site. The DBTL gallery is a non-profit organisation providing opportunities for local artists, both emerging and established.The Down by the Liffey Gallery is looking to appoint Somebody with the following attributes and practice. » An appreciation of visual and/or applied arts. » Demonstrated practice in an administrative function, with the capability to network and collaborate with a wide variety of artists and community organisations. » A availability to work collaboratively with committee, artists and volunteers. While not essential, Information technology will also be a plus if you: » Have existing networks in the Canterbury and Selwyn arts communities. » Bring practice in curation of exhibitions and hanging of art works.
