We are making significant changes to how we deliver our mahi by doing the following: » Taking practical action to give effect to te Tiriti o Waitangi » Giving priority to regional and local voice » Delivering greater responsiveness, accessibility and integrated services and support » Improving feedback loops and information flows About our group and team Te Mahau – Te Pae Aronui (Operations and Integration) use information, insights and service design functions to help the three Te Mahau frontline groups design and deliver services for our sector. We service and support the frontline groups and play an integration function between the enabling functions and our frontline services. The Resourcing Group is responsible for delivering operational funding and staffing entitlements to nearly 2,500 schools. We administer annual payments of approximately $5.8 billion to Schools and Kura. We provide high quality financial advice and support to Schools and Boards of Trustees. We ensure Schools and Early Childhood Centres receive correct resourcing entitlements through our Monitoring programme. We provide resourcing operational policy advice and guidance and produce one-off solutions to resourcing issues. Our Resourcing Contact Centre also provides direct telephone and email support to Schools’, Early Childhood Centres and the general public Mo tenei turanga – About this function The Resourcing agent will provide direct telephone and email advice to School staff, Principals, Boards of Trustees, Ministry Staff, Early Childhood Centre owners, parents and the general public for the Ministry.They will provide accurate payments to schools and caregivers in a timely manner. You will be able to work at pace, manage a variety of tasks, projects and take initiative on day to day work. Your personal qualities will include: » taking pride in producing written work, including other forms of communication of the highest quality » having the interpersonal expertise to relate well with all kinds of people » have the background practice and expertise that will contribute to the team » providing high quality services to the sector and across the Ministry. You will also offer: » a tertiary qualification and/or significant practical practice » the capability to develop effective working relationships and build credibility with customers at all levels, team members, and colleagues » the capability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
