About us Te Puna Rangat?p? – Corporate supports the wider organisation. We are responsible for delivering essential Ministry-wide statutory and corporate functions. We provide essential services such as governance, organisational strategy, communications, facilities, legal, finance, procurement, ministerial reporting and people capcapability to the organisation. The Change team within Te Puna Rangat?p? helps leaders and their teams to manage change well. We focus on the people side of change and provide change management support for significant programmes and projects that impact across the Ministry. The opportunity Te Puna Rangat?p? has an broad work programme underway that requires change specialists who apply a people-centred, empathetic approach to helping leaders and their teams navigate change. As a Change Specialist you’ll play a key function in the change management activities, leading on less complex initiatives by developing, planning, and delivering change management interventions geared to deliver sustainable change and enable equitable, measurable results. The Change Specialist function is a great opportunity to deepen your change management practice and expertise across the end-to-end change process in a supportive environment. About you You are a change champion with a passion for finding new ways to do things better. You know how to instil excitement in others, and you have the strong communication expertise and empathy needed to guide people through challenging transitions. this function will suit the following: » Either a change management practitioner with practice leading or supporting business change initiatives and with an interest in developing your change expertise further » Or a capable operational or people leader interested in becoming a change management professional To be prosperous in this function you will have the following: » practice leading and managing change effectively » A clear focus on people and providing people-centred services » A working expertise of change techniques and approaches » Demonstrable practice working prosperously with a range of stakeholders » Excellent interpersonal and communication expertise » practice of working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment Bring your change expertise and practice to a team of dedicated professionals focused on supporting people to do their best work every day. You’ll work with senior leaders and their teams on varied projects and programmes, supporting design, development and implementation of change management interventions. If you know how to implement and measure change activities, and have a demonstrated capability to deliver high quality, change related work, we want to hear from you. You’ll need to tell us about your practice of working in change environments and putting people at the centre of change approaches and interventions. You should be aware that the job may involve a bit of travel, so we can connect with our people across the country.
