At Te Tahuhu o te Matauranga – Ministry of Education, we work to provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to akonga and whanau.
We help shape the policies, settings and performance of the education system for early learning, schooling and tertiary. We do this by building relationships and knowledge the needs of those who receive our services.

About us
Te Puna Hanganga, Matihiko – Infrastructure and Digital – Te Tahuhu o te Matauranga – Ministry of Education, leads inclusive, accessible and integrated national, digital and physical infrastructure and transport services to the education system.

Mo tenei turanga – About this function
Reporting to either a Regional Infrastructure Manager or an Infrastructure Manager, a key focus of this function is supporting the Asset Management property team across the region which includes the processing of funding applications/payments and property plans. In addition, fostering and managing external and internal relationships by responding to queries and information requests in a timely and informative manner.

income range
$54,079 – $66,096 per annum plus 3% kiwi saver. The prosperous candidate will be appointed at a income which reflects individual expertise and practice.
Mohou ake – About you
You will demonstrate a mix of coordination expertise and practice in a property team within a large and complex delivery organisation is desirable.
To be prosperous in this function you will need:
   » demonstrated knowledge of data management processes
   » excellent oral and written communication expertise
   » highly developed relationship management expertise
   » practice working with office and financial systems
   » practice in liaising with stakeholder groups
   » working knowledge of Microsoft programmes (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
   » the capability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
