Job Description

Are you an practiced project manager with a gift for supporting others to deliver their projects end-to-end? Do you have practice working across multiple programmes and projects, supporting different teams to meet their deliverables and looking ahead to forecast potential challenges? We have a function for you!
The Mental Health Foundation is seeking an practiced project management coordinator to join our team and help us deliver a range of programmes and projects.
We're growing, and our work is expansive and diverse. This new function will support all our teams to ensure our work is coordinated, effective and delivered on time, on budget and in a way that best meets the needs of our communities.
The person in this function will need to have an eye for potential risks and challenges, and be skilled at managing relationships between teams and individuals to resolve any issues as they arise. They will have practice working with project management software, and be able to bring our teams along with them and teach them processes, software and other tools to make the process of managing projects easy and help us get the best possible results.
A friendly, approachable manner is essential, as is a ?can-do' attitude and a passion for our mahi.
You will also have:
   » 3+ years' practice in managing multiple projects using project management tools
   » Strong attention to detail
   » Excellent communication and collaboration skills
   » Strong capability to have challenging conversations in a positive, mana-enhancing manner
   » capability to set and meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
   » capability to build/maintain relationships with a wide number of people
   » Strong knowledge of budget management and capability to monitor multiple budgets concurrently
   » availability to grow knowledge of the Treaty of Waitangi and its practical application
   » availability to grow knowledge of Te Ao M?ori and Te Reo M?ori
