Clinical NurseJob location:Auckland Manukau & East Auckland Work Type: Contract » Large charitable organisation- close to transport-South Auckland » income- $54 per hour » Fixed term contract- 6 months- choose between 0.5FTE/1.0 FTE The Organisation Our client is a large charitable trust that undertakes, promotes and advances clinical research, audits and evidence located practice and education. High quality and beneficial pharmaceutical therapies through clinical trial research being their aim. The function: Screening Activities: • Work in collaboration with all team members for trials to identify potential participants. • Collect and collate potential participants as sent by 3rd party vendor of Sponsor • Pre-screen potential participants against set inclusion/exclusion criteria from data available on Clinical Portal and maintain spread sheet of exclusions • Call potential participants to give a brief overview of the study and offer to send ICF • Mail ICF and nurse business card to potential participants and maintain log of dates sent and date to follow-up • Able to enter patient specific details onto pre-screening logs and computer programme call logs. • Follow-up with potential participant to ascertain interest in trial and pass positive responses to Research Nurse Participant Visits: • Obtains blood, urine and other tissue samples as specified in the trial protocol and prepares samples for shipment ensuring that documentation at all stages of the process is accurate and complete. • Performs routine assessments of the participants enrolled in a clinical trial in association with the protocol and maintains plans of care. • Supplies trial medication to participants, as per the trial protocol, while ensuring secure storage of all trial medication and maintenance of medication accountcapability logs at site during the course of a clinical trial.
