Summer Orchard Workers, Agriculture and Forestry Seasonal jobs inTe Puke 3189 Bay-of-Plenty New Zealand

 

Paengaroa Horticulture Limited are looking for Summer Orchard workers.  Start date is approx 4th October to 24th December 2021.  

The work will involve: 
   » Bud thinning (removing unwanted buds) 
   » Tip crushing (crushing tips of vines to stop growth) 
   » Male pruning/trimming
   » Summer pruning

practice is not necessary as training will be given.  This work does involve working above shoulder and head height reaching and pulling down of vines and being on your feet for long periods.  The job is physical so candidates MUST be physically fit and healthy.  You must be able to work weekdays and weekends as we cant work when Information technology rain.

You must have your own transport orchards located in Te Puke Maketu & Paengaroa areas.  Limited accommodation may be available in Paengaroa.
