Technical ConsultantLocation WellingtonNew Zealand Job type Full Time Salary to Category Executive > Consulting » Until 31 March 2023 - possible extension » $100 per hour » Wellington THE ROLE Work with Business Consultants, Business Technical Consultants, Architects, and the delivery team as part of an agile process delivering application solutions. Technical Consultants are focused on a application solutions portfolio, which includes but is not limited to CIM, RTIM, Demand Chain Management, EAS, MDM, and RDM; and may include custom-developed applications such as web dashboards, Hadoop Applications, or ISV applications. » Applies background to marketplace, prospect and customer initiatives. » Internal and external stakeholder awareness. » Applications solutions sales motions including discussions, demonstrations and presentations. » Proof of concept and benchmarking to prove the viability of new solutions to clients. » Scoping and estimating in post-sales delivery of specific requirements, solution and detailed design, development, and testing, installations/configurations, implementations and upgrades. » Integrating the application into the customer environment. » Evaluate project deliverables and communicate with other consultants to improve other projects. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE » 5 years of related experience » In depth knowledge of the application architecture. » Knowledge of Architecture Principles, Advocated Positions, Design Patterns, and Implementation Alternatives and methodologies » Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and testing approaches. » Work with the appropriate project management methodology (Agile or Waterfall) based upon customer and project requirements.
