This would suit couples. Our season runs until November. The style of picking is the opposite of kiwifruit picking - we dont strip pick, we select on red colour. We pick fruit 5 days per week – from Monday to Friday (8:00am - 4.30pm), some Saturdays with prior agreement. The fruit is not affected by rain so we can pick when wet (in between showers). The orchard is located rurally approximately 10km from Paengaroa or 20 km from Te Puke-you will need your own car. You will be working alongside the Owners and existing pickers. We are pursuing people that are hard working, love the outdoors, have good vibes and will embrace our mission to bring the best quality tamarillos to our customers.
