We contract staff on various different orchards around the Poverty Bay area. We have at least 8 positions available for apple thinners – Immediate Start Previous practice would be an advantage; however, training will be provided. prosperous candidates will need to be honest, hardworking and reliable; physically fit and healthy and willing to be hands on and be able to work as a team or independently unsupervised. Own reliable transport would be good but not absolutely necessary. Prepared to stay in Gisborne for at least 3 weeks , and there be a possibility of further work for the right people . candidates for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. Starting rate will be $22.10 plus 8% holiday pay (Total $23.87) with the potential to gain bonus rate up to $25* per hour plus 8% holiday pay depending on work performance and relicapability . The job will be an average 30 - 45 hours a week, Monday-Sunday, weather and crop permitting.
