Job Description

   » Lead and implement the delivery of ACC Maori Health services

With ACC, you’ll be supporting people in Aotearoa to stay safe by minimising the incidence and impact of injury, as well as helping them recover from injury if an accident does happen. This is a great opportunity to lead and facilitate the planning, design and implementation of the ACC health services development programme for Maori to ensure we have the appropriate services available to best meet the needs of Maori. This is a senior leadership abilities function requiring active engagement, collaboration, and support for the development of culturally appropriate services.
What you need to be prosperous in this function is the following:
   » You will have significant practice in Maori health and service design
   » Proven practice in health service strategy, design and delivery functions in the health sector
   » Design, purchasing and contract management practice with Kaupapa Maori health services
   » Senior level practice in leading and implementing Maori and cultural development frameworks
   » Good knowledge of Te Reo and Tikanga with a deep knowledge of Maori culture, values alongside strong Iwi networks
   » Strong Maori networks across public and private sectors
   » Strong senior level stakeholder management, with demonstrated practice influencing decisions with continuous improvement approaches.
   » Excellent verbal, written and presentation expertise and the capability to connect with your wider Whanau, iwi and communities
