Job Offer: Roading Corridor Co-ordinator NTA:FuelAgencyJob description:Job DescriptionRoading Corridor Co-ordinatorThe Northland Transportation Alliance (NTA) is a collaboration between the Whangarei, Kaipara and Far North District Councils, Northland Regional Council and Waka Kotahi (New Zealand Transport Agency) to deliver joined-up transportation services for Northland. This holder of this function will be employed by Whangarei District Council and will be located in Whangarei.About the function: The Roading Corridor Co-ordinator forms part of the Corridor Access Requests (CAR) team providing vehicle crossing construction and corridor access services for the Northland Transportation Alliance and its internal and external clients. Reporting to the CAR Lead, you will assist the team with the operation and management including processing vehicle crossing applications, coordinate and conduct site inspections at critical points of construction, issues letters and communications and ensure the vehicle crossing database is up to date all over the construction process. About you: To be prosperous in this function We are seeking for Somebody with interpersonal communication and collaboration expertise, who is highly organised and confident in coordinating the timing of physical works occurring across the roading network. You will have practice in carrying out inspections and have some expertise of site traffic management and enjoy maintaining and updating the database for the network. The requirements sought of a candidate for this function are: » NZCE or a diploma or equivalent in either civil engineering or 5+ years' practice in roading works and site traffic management » Roading maintenance, construction, and site traffic management expertise » Familiar with using Road Asset Maintenance Management (RAMM) software » Familiar with inspections and engineering Standard's compliance checks » Effective communicator - both verbally and in writing » Negotiation and liaison expertise to deal with issues and challenges related to internal and external partners » Proficient in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook » Resilient » NZ full driver's license What we can offer: NTA offers a supportive team environment in the midst of positive transformation and change and engaged in some exciting projects across the Northland Region.
