Auckland Regional Public Health Services (ARPHS) delivers public health services on behalf of the three district health boards in the Auckland region. The opportunity | Ng? whakaritenga o te mahi We have a Health Promotion vacancy within our Health Improvement Team at Auckland Regional Public Health Service (ARPHS). We work across the areas of alcohol, Healthy Auckland Together, smokefree and workplace health and wellbeing. Key responsibilities of function include: » Developing and implementing health promotion programmes and projects to improve population health in the Auckland region. » Influencing Auckland's public policy and health systems. » Building and maintaining health promotion networks to support collaborative working. » Applying a health equity lens to shape Tamaki Makaurau so all flourish For all aspects of this function and the practice/expertise required please see the position description. About you | He k?rero m?u Given the importance of this function, you will be someone who: » Is a strategic thinker committed to achieving health equity and improving results for people in T?maki Makaurau. » Ideally has 3+ years' practice inhealth promotion, project management or a significant discipline, and practice working with M?ori and Pacific Peoples. » Preferably has skills in one or more of the following areas or a growth mind-set to lgain - data and research, policy analysis, communications, advocacy and/or influencing. » Values diversity, inclusivity and empathy.
