ICU/HDU Nurse- Maternity CoverJob location:Wellington Wellington Central Work Type: Contract » » » »Good hourly remuneration »Free car parking and Supportive work environment »Fixed term- Monday- Friday- rotating rosters The function: Our client is seeking an practiced ICU/HDU nurse who is available to take up a function till August 2022. this function has been created to cover maternity leave. Information technology is rostered and rotating Monday to Friday with expectation of one on call weekend per month. Previous ICU practice with a cardiac background would be preferred. Special Skills: » Sound clinical skills in surgical patient care » Familiar with and demonstrates a commitment to risk management and quality » Sound knowledge and implementation of infection control practices » Familiar with clinical pathway concepts and their application to practice » Excellent problem-solving skills » Competence in clinical emergency procedures » Crisis management and astute decision-making skills » Conflict management in relation to own clinical practice advantages: » income depends on the practice- $27- $39.39 per hour » Planned Christmas break » PDRP programme » Free parking » Hospital uniform » Visa sponsorship for the right candidate You: » Minimum 2 years post -graduate practice in ICU/HDU » Excellent interpersonal and communication skills » Demonstrated clinical nursing practice and a team player » Is flexible and adaptable » A strong commitment to quality and team work » Great communication skills and be able to contact confidently with internal colleagues and visiting practitioners. » Must be eligible to work in NZ Application Process: Click Apply Now or call Dee Das on 022 657 9248 to have a confidential chat about the function.
