Siga Las Vacas Ltd is a herd owning sharemilking business that milks circa 1600 cows over two large-scale dairy farming properties in Central Southland. Our close-knit farm teams require a team member of two beginning August 2021. The position offered is on two dairy farms that are operated within our business, Totara and Sinclair farms, both located in Central Southland. candidates need not have any practice in dairying however they must have a positive attitude and be able to demonstrate good work ethic and capability to contribute to a team. A focus on health and safety is a must, we promote a work environment of everyone getting home safe every day, hence strict adherence to our Impairment Management Policy is expected. This includes looking after yourself and workmates, and may include such things as workplace drug testing. Good expertise of and practice operating machinery is an advantage, a valid drivers' licence is a must! We are seeking for team members who have alignment to our business values.
