This prosperous developer/contractor are constructing a staged $100M+ retirement village on the North Shore. It offers first rate care facilities in a village community setting. They have sizable teams of labour both in house and sub contracted with clear lines of authority and responsiblity. They offer a a strong career path for internal promotion and development.
Reporting to the senior site manager, you will be responsible for fit out aspects of the project including:
   » Managing on site activities including direct labour, sub-contractors and independent contractors/consultants
   » Assisting the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor in the smooth running of a project
   » Being responsible for all health and safety and leading/running Toolbox meetings
   » A desire to become a part of a prosperous, high performance team
   » Cost management
This is a function requiring:
   » broad local practice in site management for a reputable construction company across fitout elements
   » Trade qualified or a tertiary qualification in construction or project management
   » Strong systems expertise in MS Project
   » Skilled in managing sizable teams and keeping staff on track and maintaining clarity
   » A strong problem solver and resolution expert
   » Commercial nous
