Job Opportunity: Administrator:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation Booksellers Aotearoa NZ Closes 27 Sep 2022 Posted on 8 Feb 2022 Region Wellington Work type Part time employment Work classification Management & Admin ShareBooksellers Aotearoa is the trade organisation representing and supporting more than 200 bookshops all over New Zealand.We are seeking for a capable, organised and methodical person to take on a range of important administration tasks. These include: » looking after all aspects of the national book tokens scheme: filling orders from bookshops and the public, redemptions, stock management » merchandise orders and stock control » basic bookkeeping (Xero) » managing membership enquiries and applications » website content updates » general administration. The administrator also prepares the weekly ?Preview of Reviews? newsletter, a survey of the following week's book media from all over New Zealand, and also manages our joint book review project with RNZ National's Nine to Noon programme. The function is 30 hours per week but flexibility about when those hours are worked is offered. Booksellers Aotearoa is a small and dedicated team that works closely together to support bookshops and each other. The Association has a reputation for valuableness and responsiveness so strong customer service is expected. Book industry practice (retail or publishing) is an advantage but a love of books is essential.
